    Confirm the staff member and LEA

    Match SEID, local staff ID, legal name, Reporting LEA, and employment evidence.

    Identify the failed authority or identifier

    Distinguish an incorrect value from an account-role, CTC, organization, or effective-period problem.

    Bring in the right owner

    Coordinate CALPADS, HR/personnel, credentialing, and system staff as applicable.

    Correct the authoritative dependency

    Repair the account, organization relationship, SEID, or source staff record before regenerating SDEM.

    Verify in CALPADS

    Confirm the accepted SDEM history under the intended SEID and LEA.

2026–27 Fall 2 calendar
