What this error actually means

This is the mirror of IVR0010. CALPADS expects an alternate identity to include both first and last name, while the middle alias remains separately optional under the specification.

    Capture the submission, row, field values, Reporting LEA, masked SEID, effective dates, and related SASS/CRSE identifiers before editing.

    Use authorized evidence to match the educator, Reporting LEA, SEID, and effective period. Do not include SSNs in ordinary working notes.

    • Confirm that the value is truly an alias—not a nickname placed in the wrong field.
    • Compare fields 7.13 and 7.15 in the raw row.
    • Inspect null handling and HR-to-SDEM mapping.
    • Use only staff-provided or otherwise authorized identity evidence.

    Determine whether the problem began in authorized personnel evidence, HR/SIS entry, a local crosswalk, an integration, file generation, or CALPADS history.

    Make the supported correction

    Complete the evidence-supported alias pair or remove an alias value that was mapped into the field incorrectly.

    Regenerate and reconcile

    Confirm the accepted SDEM history under the intended Reporting LEA and SEID. Review Report 4.4 and applicable Reports 4.1–4.5, then inspect other staff affected by the same mapping or workflow.
