Why this matters

A CRSE row represents one educator-course-section relationship. Multiple-teacher sections legitimately use different SEIDs; identical keys instead indicate repeated rows or two local records collapsed into one CALPADS identity.

    Compare the master schedule, course catalog, teacher assignment, delivery school, and accepted SDEM/SASS prerequisites.

    Test the exact rule

    • Place competing rows side by side.
    • Confirm Local Course ID, Course Section ID, term, and SEID.
    • Determine whether rows are distinct teachers or accidental repeats.
    • Trace copied schedules, joins, and identifier truncation.

    Find the first divergence

    Inspect SIS configuration, course crosswalks, joins, delimiters, Version 18 export behavior, and CALPADS organizational context.

    Make the supported correction

    Produce one evidence-supported row per primary key; preserve distinct multiple-teacher relationships and correct the source duplication.

    Resubmit and reconcile

    Confirm IVR0116 clears, review Report 3.7 Course Section Enrollment and Report 4.3 Staff Teaching Assignments, and audit other sections produced by the same rule.
