25.15- Service DurationRecommended correction path
Suggested resolution
Valid versus invalid duration entries
| Submitted value | Result | Why |
|---|---|---|
0030 | Valid format | Four numeric characters representing 30 minutes per session. |
0120 | Valid format | Four numeric characters representing 120 minutes per session. |
30 | Invalid format | The value has not been left-padded to four digits. |
30 min | Invalid | Units do not belong in the numeric field. |
30.0 | Invalid | A decimal point is not accepted. |
30–45 | Invalid | A range is not one duration value. |
weekly | Invalid | Frequency belongs in 25.14, not 25.15. |
Passing the numeric-format check does not prove the duration is correct. The number must still be at least 10 minutes, match the student’s operative plan, and align with the selected Service Frequency Code.
Recommended correction path
- 1
Inspect the raw value
Look for missing leading zeroes, spaces, punctuation, units, formulas, scientific notation, or spreadsheet-added characters.
- 2
Verify the plan
Confirm the documented minutes per session and do not convert total weekly minutes into a session duration unless the plan supports that interpretation.
- 3
Check frequency and duration together
Fields 25.14 and 25.15 describe one service schedule and must be logically consistent.
- 4
Correct the source mapping
Export four digits, then resubmit and confirm no related duration or frequency rule appears.
