How to review the record

  1. Match the student

    Use the SSID to locate the rejected SINF record. Compare the submitted values in 2.36 and 2.18 with the corresponding values for that student in the SIS.

  2. Verify each date independently

    Check the birth date against the student’s verified demographic record. Check the initial U.S. K–12 enrollment date against enrollment history, including prior U.S. schools. The start date at the current district may be later than the student’s first U.S. K–12 enrollment.

  3. Correct the supported value

    Correct the inaccurate source value or export mapping. Regenerate the SINF row, read both dates in the outgoing file and confirm the corrected submission clears SINF0753.
