Recommended correction path

  1. 1

    Preserve the full CTE chain

Save SCTE pathway/completer data, all SCSC completions, their CRSC sections, Reporting LEA, academic year, and valid-combination result.

  2. 2

    Confirm the completer determination

Have the CTE owner validate pathway requirements and completion evidence.

  3. 3

    Identify the capstone completion

Locate the actual completed course and SCSC section record for the same academic year and Reporting LEA.

  4. 4

    Validate CRSC course coding

Confirm Local Course ID, section, State Course Code, and Capstone Course Indicator from the master schedule and Version 18 combinations.

  5. 5

    Test pathway mapping

Verify the State Course Code maps to the reported SCTE Pathway Code; review every pathway separately for multi-pathway students.

  6. 6

    Correct the unsupported fact

Repair SCTE completer/pathway, SCSC, CRSC, capstone, LEA, year, or mapping only from evidence; remove an unsupported completer record.

  7. 7

    Reprocess and reconcile

Confirm each completer has a qualifying capstone chain and CTE reports match the approved pathway roster.

Before closing the correction

  • Completer status is supported.
  • A qualifying capstone SCSC exists.
  • CRSC code and pathway mapping are valid.
  • Every pathway is evaluated independently.
