Fields validated: 17.08 - SSID
Recommended correction path
- 1
Collect the complete PSTS set
Search by SSID, Reporting LEA, academic year, and Education Program Participation Type and save every status row.
- 2
Review outreach chronology
Compare contact attempts, response dates, survey records, refusals, and documented outcomes.
- 3
Identify the authoritative final state
Determine whether the student was not contacted, refused, or provided a supported substantive outcome.
- 4
Resolve duplicate/conflicting rows
Retain or correct only the PSTS record sequence supported by the collection workflow; do not mix no-response codes with a substantive status where prohibited.
- 5
Repair the outreach export
Correct duplicate generation, resubmission logic, status precedence, or year/participation keys.
- 6
Reprocess and reconcile
Confirm one coherent status remains for the student/cohort key and distributions match the approved outreach log.
Before closing the correction
- All records for the cohort key were reviewed.
- 950/960 meanings match documented outreach.
- No prohibited status conflict remains.
- PSTS distributions reconcile with the outreach log.
