Student Registration

Abl Master Scheduler is a secondary-school scheduling platform that uses course requests, staffing, rooms, constraints, student needs, and program priorities to help teams build and revise master schedules. It exchanges information with the SIS but does not register or enroll students into a district.

Abl is now part of BetterLesson, and the scheduling product’s current availability and support should be confirmed. The record belongs under Master Scheduling rather than Student Registration, with the historical Aeries integration and Oakland use case retained as interoperability evidence.

Aeries Online Enrollment is the family-facing registration module for collecting new-student information before records are added to Aeries SIS. Parents or guardians enter household, contact, residency, language, health, emergency, and other district-required information and upload documents through a configurable online process.

District staff review submissions, resolve missing or duplicate information, and transfer accepted records into Aeries rather than retyping paper packets. Districts should distinguish new-student enrollment from annual data confirmation, returning-student updates, school choice, and placement workflows that may use other Aeries functions.

GoSignMeUp is an event and course-registration platform used to publish catalogs, enroll participants, manage capacity and waitlists, collect payments, send communications, and track attendance or completion. In school districts, it is commonly used for professional development, continuing education, community programs, or other scheduled offerings.

Although the product performs online registration, it does not manage K–12 student enrollment into a district or create authoritative SIS enrollment records. The product already belongs more naturally in Professional Development or Event Registration and should be moved after its district connections are preserved.

K-12 Online is listed as an online student registration product used by a California district, but the current public website and independent product documentation are insufficient to confirm its present ownership, feature set, or support model. The record should therefore avoid claims beyond its reported enrollment role.

During reconciliation, the connected district should identify the vendor contact, login URL, SIS relationship, active contract or support status, and whether the name refers to a commercial registration system, a locally hosted service, or a virtual-school enrollment portal. Until then, the historical relationship should be preserved but treated as unverified-current.

Registration Gateway is a legacy online student-registration product acquired by LINQ from SRC Solutions. It collected student and household information, documents, forms, and signatures and supported staff processing and transfer to connected student information systems.

LINQ still provides support references for former Registration Gateway customers, but the product is no longer prominent in LINQ’s current public portfolio. Districts using it should confirm whether they remain on the legacy system, have migrated to a LINQ forms workflow, or have replaced it before the record is renamed, redirected, or retired.

PowerSchool Enrollment is the current successor to InfoSnap and provides online enrollment, registration, school-choice, and returning-student data-collection workflows. Families complete configurable forms, upload documents, provide signatures, and receive communications while staff review submissions and prepare records for the district SIS.

Districts use the platform to replace paper packets, reduce duplicate entry, monitor completion, and standardize registration across schools. Product packaging and SIS connections should be documented because PowerSchool offers multiple enrollment products and integrations, and the former InfoSnap brand should no longer be treated as a separate current system.

SchoolMint Enroll is a K–12 enrollment-management platform for applications, registration, school choice, lotteries, waitlists, offers, acceptance, re-enrollment, and family communication. Districts and charter organizations configure programs, priorities, eligibility rules, deadlines, and required documents in a centralized workflow.

The product is especially useful where families choose among schools or programs and administrators must run transparent placement processes. Districts should map SchoolMint identifiers and statuses to the SIS, document lottery and priority rules, and ensure public-facing forms meet language, accessibility, and records requirements.
