School InSites

SchoolInSites is a K–12 website platform for building and maintaining district and school sites with shared branding and distributed content ownership. It lets nontechnical staff publish pages, news, events, documents, staff information, and community resources while district leaders retain administrative oversight.
Distributed publishing creates a continuing data-maintenance task: directories, calendars, documents, and news each need an owner. Central oversight connects school-level editing with districtwide communications. Publishing information creates a continuing maintenance responsibility. Ownership and review dates help distinguish authoritative public content from material that has become outdated.
