PCS-NOW by PCS Revenue Control Systems is a K–12 nutrition platform for point of sale, student accounts, eligibility, applications, menu planning, production, inventory, purchasing, forms, payments, and reporting. It connects cafeteria transactions with central nutrition-office processes.
Serving-line transactions depend on student accounts and eligibility, while central operations use menus, purchasing, and inventory. Nutrition teams coordinate those related records across schools and reporting periods. Eligibility, a prepaid balance, a meal served, and a financial deposit are different records. Common student references and service dates help staff reconcile them without treating the entries as interchangeable.
Enrollment changes, account adjustments, and reporting periods require coordinated handling across schools. Nutrition, student-data, and finance owners agree on source authority and reconciliation, including how local service counts relate to program reporting. Understanding the environment means tracing a student or household record through meal service and the separate accounting and administrative processes that follow.
