Overview

ReadWrite Digital Integrator is an integration-platform-as-a-service built for K–12 data and identity automation. It connects SIS and HR sources with directories, identity platforms, learning applications, device systems, assessment tools, and other district services so accounts, rosters, attributes, and operational data stay synchronized.

SIS and HR records become accounts, groups, and application data through defined transformations. District data owners and IT teams coordinate source authority, update timing, and resolution of mismatched records. A successful transfer can still carry a mismatched identity or an inappropriate field value. Source ownership and agreed receiving rules give the technical exchange its business meaning.

The work continues after the first successful exchange. A source correction, new school year, vendor update, or failed transfer can change what receiving applications know. Application owners and technical teams coordinate monitoring, exception review, and approved changes so that synchronized data continues to represent the intended students, staff, classes, and services.

  • Creates, updates, moves, and deactivates accounts and records based on changes in authoritative systems.
  • Supports SIS, HR, Active Directory, Entra ID, Google Workspace, Apple School Manager, and other configured destinations.

Configurable integration jobs

  • Combines data from multiple sources and applies district-defined mappings, naming conventions, filters, and business rules.
  • Supports scheduled automation, manual runs, and bidirectional writes where the connected systems permit them.

Monitoring and safeguards

  • Shows job activity and field-level changes through an administrative portal and audit history.
  • Pauses or flags suspicious changes so a faulty source file does not automatically corrupt downstream systems.

Education application agents

  • Provides prebuilt agents for common SIS, identity, MDM, LMS, library, assessment, college-planning, and instructional systems.
  • Handles year-end transitions and recurring roster changes without requiring separate manual exports for each application.
