I assigned an ABCya! game, but students now see “Join to play” instead of the game. Is something broken?
The game is marked “FREE”Open the game from the current Free Games of the Week section and try again. If it still will not open, the problem may be related to the browser, filtering, or another technical condition.

Return to the ABCya! home page and see whether the assigned game appears in the current Free Games of the Week collection.

Sign in with the approved school account
If your school has an ABCya! classroom or school subscription, use its approved sign-in process. Then reopen the original game and confirm that membership access is recognized.

Select an accessible alternative when needed
If your school does not subscribe, choose one of the games currently marked FREE or another district-approved activity that practices the same skill.

Update the student directions
Replace or revise the assignment link so students are not repeatedly sent to content they cannot access.
If your school subscribes but the prompt remains
Ask the person who manages the ABCya! subscription to confirm that the subscription is active and that you are using the correct school account. Provide the game title, game link, device type, and a screenshot of the prompt through an approved support channel.
