Nearpod Will Not Open from My Learning Management System
Retry the assignment in one clean browser session, follow the browser's cookie prompt, and separate a browser restriction from an LMS configuration problem.
Teacher
Nearpod will not open from Canvas, Schoology, Google Classroom, Teams, or another LMS. I see a cookie warning, repeated sign-in prompt, or a blank embedded window.
Follow these steps in order.

Start from the assigned LMS course
Sign in with your school account, open the correct course, and launch the Nearpod assignment from its original LMS link. Close duplicate LMS and Nearpod tabs first.

Follow the browser's cookie prompt
If the browser says Nearpod cookies are blocked, use the browser's site-specific prompt to allow the access required for this school tool, then refresh. Do not disable privacy or security protections broadly, and follow district browser policy.

Try the approved external-window option
If the LMS offers “open in a new window” or a similar approved control, use it once. If Nearpod works outside the embedded frame, report that distinction to local support.

Test one supported school browser
Retry in the district-supported browser with the same school account. If only one browser or profile fails, include its name, version, and privacy setting in the support request.

Escalate certificate or configuration errors
Do not bypass an SSL/certificate warning. If the error persists across browsers or users, ask the LMS/Nearpod administrator to review the integration, launch URL, account mapping, and certificate chain.
Copy-and-paste message for LMS support
Nearpod will not launch from [LMS and course]. At [time], [browser/version] displayed [exact error] at [assignment or link]. I retried with my school account, refreshed after following the site-specific cookie prompt, and tested [embedded window/new window/second approved browser]. The result was [result]. Please review the Nearpod integration, account mapping, launch URL, and any certificate or browser-policy requirement.
Stop and escalate when
You see an SSL or certificate warning, the launch loops through sign-in, the LMS link opens the wrong account or lesson, or multiple users have the same failure. These usually require administrator-level review.
