SDLA Quick Fix · Flocabulary

A Flocabulary Feature or Lesson Is Missing

Confirm the signed-in account, active subscription, and content type before treating missing Flocabulary access as a technical failure.

Teacher

I cannot find a Flocabulary lesson or feature that a colleague can use, or Flocabulary says I do not have access.

Quick Fix

First, record what is missing. Note the exact lesson, feature, activity, or message. “Break It Down,” “Flocabulary Mix,” a Nearpod Original, assignment reporting, and an ordinary Flocabulary video may have different access requirements.

Follow these steps in order.

  1. Confirm the account

Open the account or profile area and verify that you are signed in with the school identity connected to your district's Flocabulary subscription, not a personal or older account.

  2. Open the exact shared link

Ask the colleague to share the lesson or feature URL and its exact name. Search results, grade filters, and similarly titled resources can otherwise make two users appear to be checking the same content when they are not.

  3. Check the subscription assignment

Ask the local Flocabulary administrator which subscription is assigned to your account and whether the missing feature is included. Flocabulary identifies Mix and Break It Down as Flocabulary Plus features.

  4. Refresh after an access correction

If an administrator changes your subscription assignment, sign out, close the browser, and sign in again through the approved school path. Do not purchase or start a separate account to work around district licensing.

  5. Escalate conflicting access

If the administrator confirms that your account should have the feature but it remains unavailable, provide Flocabulary support with the account, school, exact URL, feature name, and screenshot of the message.

Copy-and-paste message for your Flocabulary administrator

My school Flocabulary account [school email] cannot access [lesson, content type, or feature] at [URL]. I am signed in through [approved launch path] and see [exact message or missing control]. A colleague with [known subscription, if available] can access it. Would you please confirm my subscription assignment and whether this content is included before we open a vendor support case?

Stop and escalate when

The school account shows the wrong subscription, a recently renewed license appears inactive, or access differs between users who should have the same entitlement. Subscription and account-assignment changes require an administrator.
