Understanding the Error: A student has no Incident data reported at the same reporting LEA as suspension (in-school or out-of-school) data was reporting in absence summary (STAS) file. Things to check for in submission: Submit all SIRS information prior to certifying STAS data. Suggested Resolution: 1) Submit the correct Student Incident Result records (SIRS field 19.14 = 100 or 110) between March 1 of the previous academic year through the current academic year based on Incident Occurrence date (SINC Field 18.14) at the correct Reporting LEA 2) Verify days absent out-of-school suspension and in-school suspension are correct.
