Barracuda Email Protection is a layered email-security and resilience service for Microsoft 365 and other supported mail environments. It blocks spam, phishing, impersonation, malicious links and attachments, and account-takeover activity while adding continuity, archiving, backup, encryption, and incident-response capabilities according to the licensed package. District IT teams use it to protect staff and organizational email.
A suspicious message connects a sender, recipient, content, and observed event history. Security and messaging administrators coordinate response while keeping continuity, archiving, and backup responsibilities clear within the licensed package. Logs and permissions need current identity and asset context. Security owners coordinate response with the staff responsible for the affected systems and information.
