2024 ELPAC Multi-Year Results Extractor
Create a student-level view of Summative ELPAC Overall Performance Levels for 2024 and as many as three prior years when those historical results are present in the 2024 source file.
What this tool is for: Use a standard 2024 ELPAC student-results workbook to assemble school, grade, student name, and Summative ELPAC Overall Performance Level for 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021. A student may have fewer than four results because of grade span, enrollment history, participation, or the data available in the source file.
Required input
- An Excel workbook using the standard 2024 ELPAC student-results structure
- The source data on the workbook’s first worksheet
- The original column order used by the 2024 export
- Summative ELPAC student records identified by the expected record type
What the tool produces
- A student-level table organized by school and grade
- Student first and last name
- Summative Overall Performance Levels for 2021 through 2024 when available
- An Excel download containing the extracted records

Display key: Green shading identifies performance levels 1–4. A red left marker indicates a lower level than the immediately preceding year when both years contain a score. An em dash means no score was available in that year’s source field.
Privacy and local-data handling
The selected workbook is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to the SDLA website by this tool. The source and downloaded workbooks contain student-level information; store, share, and dispose of them according to district privacy and records-management requirements.
How to interpret the results
The table reports the Overall Performance Level already present in the source file; it does not rescore student responses or calculate a new ELPAC result. A missing prior-year value is displayed as an em dash rather than undefined.
Use the sequence as a starting point for inquiry. A change from one overall level to another does not, by itself, explain growth, instruction, participation, enrollment history, domain performance, or readiness for reclassification. Confirm consequential decisions against official records and current state and local criteria.
