Instructure Elevate Data Quality, formerly Certify by Certica Solutions, is a K–12 data-validation platform that runs maintained business rules against student information and state-reporting data. It identifies missing, conflicting, illogical, or out-of-range records and delivers role-specific results to the district and school staff responsible for correcting them.

The platform turns data cleanup into a recurring operational process rather than a last-minute reporting exercise. Daily scorecards, notifications, rule explanations, trends, and state-specific libraries help districts prioritize errors, monitor progress, improve the reliability of funding and accountability submissions, and maintain confidence in information used for decisions. Current 2026 release notes confirm that Elevate Data Quality remains active.

Level Data State Validation is a PowerSchool-embedded data-quality service that identifies missing, inconsistent, or noncompliant student information before districts submit it to state reporting systems. It applies state-specific and district-defined business rules directly within the SIS so staff can find problems during ordinary data work rather than waiting for a rejected submission.

The service presents groups of affected records through PowerSchool screens and supports guided, bulk correction where appropriate. Level Data maintains rule libraries as state requirements change, while RealTime Validation can flag errors at the point of entry. The result is a continuous data-quality process shared among registrars, attendance staff, program teams, and district reporting personnel.
