Complete the Title III EL and Immigrant Student Annual Online Reports

A program-and-data-owner review of the state online reporting forms, source counts, program implementation, and final submission evidence.

  • Title III
  • English Learners
  • Annual Reporting
Date(s)August 27–October 10, 2026
Applies toLEAs receiving or participating in applicable Title III English Learner or Immigrant Student subgrants

In Plain Language: Open the assigned state online reports, identify each requested program and data element, reconcile responses to current source records, obtain program-owner approval, and submit by October 10.

Why this matters

The report is not clerical confirmation. It connects program implementation and student information to state/federal oversight; unsupported answers can conflict with CARS, CALPADS, expenditure, or local program records.

Primary ownership

Primary owner: Title III/federal programs administrator. Handoff partners: EL/immigrant program leads, CALPADS/data staff, fiscal, private-school/consortium contacts, superintendent designee, and records staff.

Operational workflow

  1. 1. Confirm access, applicable reports, subgrant/consortium status, contacts, and deadline.
  2. 2. Export or inventory every field and assign its authoritative local source and owner.
  3. 3. Reconcile student/program responses with CALPADS and fiscal/program records; document variances.
  4. 4. Obtain program and fiscal review, submit, and save confirmation plus a final response copy.
