Submit the 2026–27 Food Distribution Program Contract Packet
The annual CNIPS certification that keeps USDA Foods ordering, delivery, billing, contacts, and recipient-agency participation active.
In Plain Language: Open the 2026–27 FDP module, update all three contract-packet components, clear red-arrow items, submit for approval, and confirm the packet no longer shows “Not Submitted.”
Why this matters
An agency that misses the deadline may be placed on hold and become ineligible to receive USDA Foods. Incorrect contacts or delivery/billing information can also disrupt ordering after approval.
Primary ownership
Primary owner: FDP/USDA Foods coordinator. Partners: nutrition director, warehouse/receiving, procurement, fiscal/accounts payable, ordering and billing contacts, authorized representative, and CDE Food Distribution staff.
Operational workflow
- 1. Select the Food Distribution Program module and the 2026–27 SNP contract packet.
- 2. Reconcile the contract, agency certification, delivery/storage, program, ordering, and billing contacts to current operations.
- 3. Resolve every red-arrow field and obtain authorized-representative review.
- 4. Select Submit for Approval by July 31; verify the status changed from Not Submitted.
- 5. Respond to CDE corrections and retain the approved packet and current contacts.
