Present Local-Indicator Results with 2027–28 LCAP Adoption
Measure applicable local indicators, present results as a non-consent item with LCAP adoption and report the results through the Dashboard.
In Plain Language: Measure applicable local indicators, present results as a non-consent item with LCAP adoption and report the results through the Dashboard.
Why this matters
The board presentation and Dashboard submission are separate parts of the annual performance standard.
Primary ownership
Accountability lead, data owners and governing-board office
Required distinctions and controls
- Use the SBE-adopted self-reflection tools applicable to the reporting year. Core local indicators cover priorities 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7; COEs also address priorities 9 and 10.
- Present results as a non-consent agenda item at the same meeting where the governing board/body adopts the LCAP. This 2027 task is separate from the retained July 2026 record.
- Complete public Dashboard reporting using the current CDE submission window and tools. Do not assume the board meeting deadline is also the portal deadline.
Recommended LEA workflow
- Confirm the LEA type, reporting year and current applicable tools.
- Collect the evidence and complete the self-reflection results with each indicator owner.
- Coordinate the non-consent presentation and LCAP adoption agenda for the same meeting.
- Retain the presented tools, agenda, minutes and any required action record.
- Submit through the Dashboard by its published window and reconcile the public result to the presentation.
