In Plain Language: Resolve every error and variance and complete final certification by the deadline. There is no amendment window, and the cohort pull occurs the same day.

Why this matters

EOY 2 feeds college/career and completion reporting and closes on the same day as the cohort data pull.

Primary ownership

Primary owner: CALPADS administrator with secondary scheduling/transcripts, CTE, work-based learning, counseling, graduation, and school owners. Certification owner: authorized LEA certifier.

Operational workflow

  1. 1. Run final eligibility, completion, error, warning, and certification reports.
  2. 2. Reconcile all pupil-level exceptions with source owners.
  3. 3. Post authorized corrections and verify results before the deadline.
  4. 4. Obtain final program-owner and certifier signoff.
  5. 5. Certify and archive final status and reports.
