In Plain Language: Certify only after authorized program owners reconcile pupil-level detail and totals. Preserve an amendment log for corrections between certification and final close.

Why this matters

The consolidated EOY 1 combines domains formerly spread across multiple submissions, making cross-program reconciliation essential.

Primary ownership

Primary owner: CALPADS administrator with attendance, discipline, program, EL, homeless, expanded learning, special education/SELPA, and school owners. Certification owner: authorized LEA certifier with SELPA review/approval at the required stage.

Operational workflow

  1. 1. Freeze dated certification reports and source control totals.
  2. 2. Obtain documented signoff from each data/program owner.
  3. 3. Resolve or explicitly log every material variance and correction plan.
  4. 4. Authorize and complete LEA certification; confirm system status.
  5. 5. Continue amendment monitoring and coordinate SELPA review where applicable.
