An IB Spanish B print and digital program covering prescribed themes, authentic texts and audio, communication practice, and assessment preparation.
Temas para español B: Spanish for the IB Diploma is published by Vista Higher Learning and authored by Parthena Draggett, Cole Conlin, Max Ehrsam, and Elizabeth Mill. Developed for the Language B syllabus introduced in 2018, it covers the five prescribed themes at Standard and Higher Level. Authentic reading and listening selections support intercultural understanding. Activities connect language study with Theory of Knowledge, Creativity, Action and Service, and Extended Essay preparation. The VHL Supersite provides listening, speaking, practice, and teacher resources.

Publication: the publisher’s launch brief announced availability in April 2019 with ©2020 copyright. San Juan adopted the program in 2024. This is a separate IB resource from Temas: AP Spanish Language and Culture.
