California Collections combines literary and informational reading with writing, discussion and language development. The California ©2017 grades 6–8 program is listed in the 2015 CDE adoption as Program 2. Materials include student texts, teacher editions, writing activities, assessments and digital resources. This record describes that middle-school edition; a district reference to Houghton Mifflin alone does not establish use.
