Words Their Way is a K–5 supplemental practice program designed to accompany a high-quality core ELA or foundational-skills curriculum. Students work within five developmental spelling stages using sound, picture, letter, word, and writing sorts. Hands-on and digital practice reinforces phonology, sound-symbol relationships, syllable types, morphology, spelling, vocabulary, decoding, and encoding, supported by placement and progress-monitoring tools.
