A grades 1–5 small-group reading intervention integrating decoding, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension.
RAVE-O is a structured reading intervention created by Dr. Maryanne Wolf for grades 1–5, delivered in 30-minute small-group lessons. Each lesson explores a Core Word through phonology, orthography, semantics, syntax, the alphabetic principle and morphology, and extends from decoding to comprehension with Minute Stories and chapter books. Materials include scripted lesson guides, slide decks, student workbooks and decodable readers, with built-in placement tests and fluency checks. The publisher also offers parent home kits and certified-tutor delivery.
