Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of applications, reports/documents and evaluations to CDE, County and District.
  • Work with ELL, GATE, Computer Media Specialist, and district Data Analyst
  • Assist site teachers with preparation of assessment programs.
  • Interpret/analyze ongoing data to assist in inform instructional decisions and program design.
  • Facilitate and coordinate with district Data Analyst and sites for all data review and corrections for all mandated testing (CELDT, STAR, and CAHSEE); also serve as a resource for teachers in all areas of the District Testing Program.
  • Assist in the facilitation of all aspects of the CAHSEE including testing demographic accounting (documents with multiple due dates).
  • Assist in the facilitation of STAR testing demographic accounting documents (due dates). Support and assist in the facilitation of CELDT test implementation between July 1 and October 31, and interim testing. Also assist in the facilitation of all district assessment activities.
  • Assist grade level and subject matter teams in setting goals for improved integrated assessment.
  • Participate in site leadership team meetings to review assessment program progress and plan ongoing support for teachers and sites.

Physical Requirements

  • Position requires moderate lifting 15-50 pounds. Pulling, pushing, bending, stooping and standing for long periods.
  • Travel to various school sites, conference and workshops required.
