Missing Non-Classroom Based Assignment Or Course Section Record
SeverityError Description
A teacher was reported who was employed on Census day but has no Non-classroom based job assignments or assigned Course Section records.
In other words, you are trying to report a teacher (because you've already uploaded a staff demographic and staff assignment file), but you are getting a cert error because that teacher doesn't have any course records associated with her/him (likely), or they are a teacher on special assignment or something and don't have a non-teaching assignment.
So the system is asking you "Did you forget to upload this teacher's course records?"
Suggested Resolution
1) Verify that the Staff Assignment Job Classification of "teacher" is valid for the SEID. If not valid, remove or correct the assignment.
2) If the Staff Assignment data is valid: i) Submit a course section record with the SEID included in it. or ii) Submit an updated Staff Assignment record with a Non Classroom Based Job Assignment Code for the SEID.
3) Remember to upload your Fall 2 files in the proper order (SDEM, SASS, CRSE, SCSE) - see image below for more info.
4) When any piece of data is wrong, it creates a sort of "cascade effect" of additional errors. So make sure to check each teacher's SEID # for accuracy, then match up the course and section data to match that teacher's number.
