Invalid Reporting School
SeverityFATAL error - Must be corrected in order to post the record and/or certify your data.
Error Description
School must be a valid code in CDS and have an active CALPADS reporting relationship with the Reporting LEA.
Suggested Resolution
Verify that an appropriate reporting relationship exists between the validated fields and populate the validated fields with correct information. Refer to California School Directory (http://www.cde.ca.gov/re/sd).
NOTE: Independently Reporting charter schools should use the school number in both the "Reporting LEA" and the "School of Attendance" fields, e.g., SSRV^^^0117879^0117879^^etc.
Note! Unlike most records, SSRV data records cannot be manually changed in CALPADS. At this time the data can only be changed by submitting a new SSRV file directly from your Special Education Information System program (e.g. SEIS, Siras, Welligent, etc.) Also, SSRV files can only be uploaded AFTER SPED files have been uploaded. Please reference our community forum area on this subject for answers to specific questions.
