Invalid Student Race Missing Indicator and Student Race Code Combination
SeverityFATAL error - Must be corrected in order to post the record and/or certify your data.
Error Description
The SPED file you are uploading from your Special Education Data system is missing and appropriate student race indicator/race code.
Suggested Resolution
Note! Unlike most records, SPED data records cannot be manually changed in CALPADS. The data can only be changed by submitting a new SPED file directly from your SPED program (e.g. SEIS, Siras, Welligent, etc.) Please reference our community forum area on this subject for answers to specific questions.
1) Enter a valid value for the Student Race Missing Indicator in the submission when any Student Race Codes are Populated. Valid values may include "N" or blank.
OR
2) If the Student Race Codes are incorrectly populated in the submission, remove or change them.
