End-of-Year (EOY) Deadline Reminder Local educational agencies (LEAs) are reminded that the close of the End-of-Year (EOY) submission amendment window is Friday, August 24, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. It is critical for LEAs to certify accurate data by this deadline, as there will be no other opportunities to amend these data. LEAs that fail to certify EOY 1 will not have college-credit bearing course information (dual enrollment) and Career Technical Education (CTE) completer data factored into the calculation of the College/Career Indicator, which will be included in the 2018 California School Dashboard, nor will LEAs that receive Perkins funding meet federal reporting requirements. Dear Dashboard Coordinators: The purpose of this e-mail is to remind you that the California Department of Education (CDE) will be requiring a new submission of the Dashboard Coordinator Application for the 2018–19 school year in order to gain access as the coordinator for your local educational agency (LEA). Notes on the ELPAC - The Initial ELPAC administration window opened on July 1.- The Local Scoring Tool (LST) became available in the Test Operations and Management System (TOMS) on July 9.- The Initial ELPAC data file layout will be posted on the ELPAC Test Administration web page by July 13.- The Initial ELPAC preliminary score sheet and instructions as well as the conversion tables will be posted in TOMS by July 13. Interesting article and stats about Learning Management systems used by school districts in other states. As you know, this site looks mostly at California school district's use of systems. The English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) Update, from the California Department of Education (CDE), is a monthly e-mail for K–12 educators, including testing coordinators.
