Delete Submitted For Non-Existing Record

Understanding the Error: The SENR file submitted contains a Transaction Code = D, which indicates that the enrollment record identified in the file should be deleted from CALPADS. However, there is no enrollment record for the SSID in CALPADS with the School of Attendance and Student School Start Date included in the file. Therefore, CALPADS cannot delete the record, since it uses these fields to identify the record to be impacted by the enrollment update.

Things to check for in submission: Verify that the fields listed in the Fields Validated column are correct in the submitted file.

Suggested Resolution: 1) Verify the student exists in CALPADS by searching for the SSID provided in the submission. If the SSID does not exist in the ODS, determine the correct SSID for the enrollment that is to be deleted and correct the SSID in the SENR file.

OR 2) If the fields School of Attendance and/or School Start Date in the submission do not match the CALPADS ODS, obtain the correct values and re-submit the SENR file with the correct validated fields.
