Zoom Workplace is a communication and collaboration platform for video meetings, webinars, team chat, phone, rooms, whiteboards, scheduling, clips, and related workplace services. Districts use it for virtual instruction, staff meetings, professional learning, family events, interviews, and public presentations.
Education administration features support managed accounts, roles, authentication, meeting policies, reporting, recordings, captions, integrations, and privacy controls. Zoom is primarily a meeting and communications platform rather than a general productivity suite.
Zoom Workplace for Education offers education-oriented packaging and account administration. Meetings, webinars, phone, rooms, recording, and AI capabilities depend on the contracted plan, add-ons, administrator settings, and applicable eligibility requirements; they are not all included in every education account.
