Invalid use of Student Proficient Or Advanced For ELA Code

Severity
FATAL error - Must be corrected in order to post the record and/or certify your data.

Error Description

Only a student who has an English Language Acquisition Status Code of RFEP may indicate a "Y" in the Student Proficient or Advanced for ELA Code field.

Suggested Resolution

If Student Proficient or Advanced for ELA Code = "Y", then the English Language Acquisition Status Code must equal "RFEP". If the English Language Acquisition Status Code is incorrectly populated in submission, change it so the correct value is submitted to CALPADS for the student information record of the SSID (applies to both SINF and SIEL). See http://www.cde.ca.gov/ds/sp/cl/systemdocs.asp for the CALPADS Code Sets and File Specifications documents.
