CALPADS Data Guide Version 11 (2020)

The purpose of this guide is to prepare local educational agency (LEA) staff to submit and use data in the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS). These staff include, program subject matter experts who understand the data submitted to CALPADS and who may use CALPADS data to support their programs, and technical staff responsible for maintaining data in local systems, such as student information, food service, special education, and human resources systems, and submitting data from those systems to CALPADS. This guide is structured to meet the needs of different LEA staff, and it is not expected that all staff will need to read the entire document.
