Part 1 - Primary Systems
#1 Board Management allows districts to manage their School Board agendas and public dissemination of materials pursuant to the Brown Act.
#2 Campus Safety includes any system dedicated to securing the campus (e.g. surveillance video, alarm systems, etc.)
#3 Client Management / Single Sign On allow students and/or staff to log into multiple systems through a single or common interface. PLEASE SELECT THE PRIMARY SYSTEM you use (there may be multiple, but the one that is the "big kahuna")
#4 Data Analysis/Metrics are enterprise systems that allow the collection, storage, and reporting of student test results and/or other data points related to the success of the organization.
#5 Data Integration / Warehouse systems allow for major ETL processes to occur between systems.
#6 Family Notification / Messaging Systems allow teachers and administrators to quickly make out-bound telephone calls, send SMS messages, and/or emails to any student or parent subgroup. Used for emergency reverse 911 as well as routine parent/teacher communications.
#7 Financial Systems. These are systems that handle payroll, budgeting, financials, benefits, etc.
#8 Food Service / MEAL POS allow parents and students to pay for breakfast/lunch online and/or act as Point-of-Sales systems.
#9 Help Desk / Ticketing Systems. facilitate end-user support tickets via emall, web, text and/or phone.
#10 Human Resource Systems. These are systems that handle staff tracking, evaluation, etc.
#11 Instructional Software used by teachers and students to learn aspects of the curriculum.
#12 Learning Management Systems (LMS). Manage the administration, registration, security, delivery and reporting of electronic educational technology (e.g. e-learning) courses or learning modules.
#13 Managed File Transfer allows districts to send confidential emails with data that requires FERPA protection.
#14 Special Education / IEP allows districts to track and manage the Individual Education Plans for students with special needs.
#15 Student Assessment Systems allow for the creation, dissemination and evaluation of student achievement through formative and/or summative assessments either online or via paper/pencil.
#16 Student Registration systems. Allows parents to update student information and complete forms online.
#17 Student Information systems are used to track student and some staff records, course information, student schedules, attendance, and state reporting requirements.
#18 Substitute Management systems permit districts to manage the hiring and deployment of substitute teachers.
#19 Web Portals / CMS serve as the main public forum and website for the school district.
Part 2 - Secondary Systems
#20 Athletics / Team Management systems help schools schedule after-school teams, review student eligibility, schedule meets, etc.
#21 Behavior / Discipline Systems assist administrators in encouraging positive student behavior and in documenting incidents related to expulsions or suspensions.
#22 College / Career Planning create pathways to college applications, manage transcripts, or provide career guidance.
#23 Data Security / Monitoring systems maintain backups of sensitive data, provide additional security measures, and also provide real-time monitoring of attacks, etc.
#24 Device Management systems allow for the configuration and management of mobile devices such as tablets, Chromebooks, laptops, etc.
